We humans have a very feeble view of who we really are. At the cosmic scale, we are less significant than a speck of dust.
No one is from Tanzania, or the UK, or India, or Japan, or Australia, or Brazil, or Canada, or France.
Where we are really from is shown in this picture, and all of us, together with our entire surroundings and the solar system we live in, will eventually be recycled into star dust again.
Star dust is what we used to be before we started to exist as living beings and star dust is what we will always look like after our last spark of life is extinguished.
If the life of the Universe is compressed down to only one single year, then the life span of our entire human civilization is only 10 seconds.
